Contribute now to clean-up of the oil spill through our clearinghouse, staffed with persons experienced in disaster recovery in the Gulf of Mexico. We fund local recovery organizations that prove, through a competitive process, to have the greatest unmet needs and best plan for addressing them. We require participating organizations to use volunteers to maximize resources.

Disaster Planning

Years of experience have taught us that hurricanes and tropical storms can spawn the most destructive and deadly forces; high winds and torrential rains wreak chaos on whatever may lie in their path. We also know that severe weather can strike quickly, violently, and at times, without warning. But in most cases, weather forecasting provides us adequate time to prepare for the worst.

Advanced planning is critical to the survival of our family members and our homes. We can best cope with a potential disaster by preparing in advance and working together as a team. Follow the simple checklist provided below and create your own family disaster plan. Knowing what to do in the event of a storm or a hurricane is your family's best defense and your personal responsibility.
